Kids First Health Care provides high-quality health care services at a convenient location on campus for students enrolled at Thornton High School (THS) and FutureForward Bollman. For an appointment (during the school year) at the THS Royal Health Center, please call 720-972-4976.

Rebecca Mark, BSN, MSN, Nurse Practitioner

Rebecca brings more than 14 years of experience as a pediatric nurse practitioner to her role at Kids First Health Care.

Her background includes extensive pediatric primary care experience across several settings. She has spent a large part of her life supporting refugee, underserved, and homeless populations in the United States and in several other countries.

At Thornton High School (THS), Rebecca serves as the nurse practitioner, where she provides integrated health care services to all THS students.

Rebecca joined the Kids First Health Care team because she loves the compassion behind the mission, and that the nonprofit will see any child and give them access to high quality health care, regardless of their situation. She is passionate about the amount of time, energy and resources Kids First Health Care dedicates to each patient, ensuring that their health and well-being is our top priority.

Before joining Kids First Health Care, Rebecca served as a nurse practitioner in private pediatric clinics across Denver, as well as in other community, school-based and micro-practice clinics in Massachusetts. 

Jennie Racher, Clinic Initiatives Manager

Jennie joined the Kids First Health Care team in 2024, bringing extensive expertise in public health, as well as family planning and reproductive health, to her role on the team.

Across the agency, Jennie manages the social determinants of health team and also provides health education services to students at the Thornton High School school-based health center.

Jennie joined Kids First because she knew the work with this notable nonprofit would profoundly impact her community, and she wanted to work alongside other highly skilled, and passionate medical professionals who are committed to health equity for all children.

Before joining Kids First, Jennie worked at Tulane University where she also received her master’s in public health and Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast. She also spent time abroad, serving in Peace Corps Senegal, where she specialized in maternal and child health care services. This inspiring adventure helped Jennie realize her passion for supporting reproductive health and wellness.
