Kids First Health Care is thrilled to offer a variety of Summer Wellness Classes that are low or no cost at the Commerce City Community Clinic, as well as at the Alto Community Clinic!

Alto Community Clinic Classes (3075 W. 71st. Avenue):
Mommy & Me – June 16 – July 21
- Ages six months – 3 years
- Tuesdays – 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Alto Clinic
- Join us for Mommy & Me, a joyful, music-filled experience for caregivers and their little ones! Together, you’ll:
- Sing, play, and move
- Build language and motor skills
- Strengthen social connections
- Make sweet memories that last long after summer
- It’s more than a class—it’s a chance to slow down, connect, and support your child’s development through play.
Breath and Bond – June 10 – July 15
- Ages 9-13
- Wednesdays – 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. at the Alto Clinic
- Join a fun, supportive program where youth build confidence and connection while learning mindfulness, emotional regulation, and positive social skills. Through breathwork, guided practices, creative activities, role play, and cooperative games, participants will strengthen self-awareness, develop healthy coping strategies, and form meaningful friendships along the way.
Commerce City Community Clinic Classes (7190 Colorado Blvd., Suite 450):

Friends and Feelings – June 26 – July 31
- Ages 9 – 12
- Fridays – 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. at the Commerce City Clinic
- Kids will explore mindfulness, breathwork, and emotional check-in tools through fun, short guided practices, cooperative games, role-playing, and creative activities. Participants will build self-awareness, coping skills, and confidence—while forming supportive, positive friendships along the way!
Transitions and Connections – June 23 – July 30
- Ages 17-20
- Tuesdays – 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Commerce City Clinic
- Big transitions can feel exciting, overwhelming—or both. This program is designed to help participants navigate the journey toward greater independence with confidence and clarity, whether they’re preparing for college, entering the workforce, or exploring what comes next. Through hands-on learning and meaningful connections, participants build the practical life skills they need for real-world success—from managing change and making thoughtful decisions to setting healthy boundaries and building strong, supportive relationships. Along the way, they’ll gain a deeper sense of direction, identity, and purpose in this important stage of life.
