Insurance Enrollment

Kids First is committed to increasing access to health care services by ensuring uninsured children gain access to health insurance coverage. We can help your family determine eligibility and enroll your child into the appropriate health insurance program so they can get the care they need.  Our staff can assist your family in completing Medicaid and CHP+ applications and in navigating through the complex Medicaid and CHP+ enrollment systems. If you are not eligible for public health plans, Kids First offers a sliding fee scale that is based on household income.

Kids First is a certified site for Medicaid/CHP+ application assistance and a certified Presumptive Eligibility (PE) Site, which enables us to grant temporary eligibility for our patients immediately. Our patients are then granted 45 days of eligibility while their applications are being processed.
